Teaching Vacation Bible School last week for 12 wonderful children served as an eye-opening reminder that people of all ages have the ability to impart wisdom. Our memory verse for the week was Matthew 19:14 – “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”
We need to remember not to dismiss the wisdom of children. As adults, we get stuck in our ways and our own perceptions. A new perspective might be just what we need! For this reason, teach your children to love the Lord and seek Him daily – “for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
